Join Dr. Mario Acosta for a seminar on the critical role of HPC in advancing weather and climate modelling, presented through the ESiWACE3 Centre of Excellence. The talk will explore how HPC enables the development and execution of high-resolution Earth System Models, supports uncertainty quantification through ensemble simulations, and facilitates long-term climate projections. Participants will gain insights into the objectives of ESiWACE3 in preparing the climate science community for the exascale era, including knowledge transfer, tool development, and community training.
