Introduction to Energy Efficient Computing and Thermal Control in today’s HPC systems

1st  December from 14.00 to 15.00 (CET) online, organized by CASTIEL WP2

Reducing power consumption and increasing energy efficiency has nowadays a key role in everyday utilization of HPC systems. Advanced and costly cooling solutions are needed to sustain the high computing densities of high-performance computing equipment. For this reason, detect and predict thermal anomalies is vital to assure safety working conditions and avoiding performance degradation. In this webinar, organized by CASTIEL WP2, the fundamental concepts of power consumption and thermal control in today’s high-end supercomputers will be presented.
