NCC Bulgaria is the the Bulgarian national competence centre for High-Performance Computing (HPC) and High-Performance Data Analytics (HPDA). Established through the EuroCC series of projects and currently part of the EuroCC 3 network within the EuroHPC ecosystem, the Centre operates as consortium of three organizations – Institute of Information and Communication Technologies at the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences (IICT-BAS) and two members: Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski” (SU) and the University of National and World Economy (UNWE). Each partner has strong positioning within specific sub-domains, and each partner has important leadership position in large national efforts, related to HPC, bringing on-board contacts from industry and academia.

NCC Bulgaria supports SMEs and large industry, academia, research organisations, public administrations, and current or prospective HPC users by providing specialised expertise, training, consulting, technical guidance, and assistance in accessing national and European computing resources, software, and tools. Our focus is on the support for SMEs/startups from strategically important sectors in the Bulgarian economy. Our mission is to strengthen national competences, accelerate the adoption of advanced computing technologies, connect users with suitable experts and infrastructure, and foster collaboration, innovation, and knowledge exchange in Bulgaria and across Europe.
