On 14 November 2025, UNWE hosted the BDA4 “Digital Transformation and Data Handling training”, welcoming industry professionals interested in strengthening their data and analytics capabilities. The session was focused on how organizations can use big data to improve decision-making, strengthen competitiveness, and accelerate digital transformation. The trainees gained essential skills in data preparation, visualization, and analytical techniques that can be applied directly to business operations. The participants explored the full lifecycle of big data, from collection and preparation to storage, transformation, and analysis. The session highlighted key principles of data governance and data quality, essential for reliable analytics in modern organizations. The training focused on data preprocessing, including cleaning, transforming, normalizing, and integrating data, and alongside an introduction to storage technologies such as HDFS, NoSQL systems, and cloud platforms. The attendees gained hands-on experience in visualization techniques, visual storytelling and dashboard-based insights, using tools like Tableau and Power BI. The event underscored the growing need for data literacy and analytics proficiency as organizations navigate accelerating digital transformation.
