Introduction to Scientific Visualisation with Blender: Data, Lights, Camera, Action Event (NCC Netherlands)

December 4 @ 10:00 am – December 18 @ 5:00 pm, online

In this course, the trainers from the NCC Netherlands will introduce Blender from the basics, starting with the user interface and basic functionality. The course will cover the 3D scene, cameras, lighting and materials, and some basic mesh editing and animation. It helps to have some familiarity with basic 3D graphics concepts, such as 3D geometry, transformations and rendering, but it will be easy to pick up this knowledge quickly during the course.

This is an online self-study course, where the organizers will provide a number of weekly synchronisation meetings and there will be many suggested exercises guided by the instructors via permanent consultation in a dedicated Discord channel.

Being an online self-study course, the course will start on 4 December at 10:00 am and close on 18 December at 5:00 pm. For more information, please visit the course event page.
