This year’s Summit attracted over 700 participants, with more than 650 attending in person. Various stakeholders across the European HPC ecosystem, including policymakers, industry representatives, researchers, students, and technology start-ups contributed to the dynamic discussions and exchanges.

The summit highlights were discussions on exascale and post-exascale computing, artificial intelligence (AI) for HPC, and quantum computing. The program featured a wide range of topics, including international collaboration, integration of industrial players and SMEs into the EuroHPC ecosystem, energy efficiency in HPC, and a plenary session on progress in European HPC chip initiatives.

The National Competence Center (NCC) – Bulgaria was represented during the session “Elevate and Collaborate: European HPC NCCs and CoEs Workshop”, which took place on March 21, 2024, in Darwin Hall.
