On May 12, 2025, during the visit of Dr. Adna Ašić to Bulgaria, a workshop was held in the Institute of Information and Communication Technologies (IICT) premises, dedicated to the cooperation between the centres of competence in high-performance computing in Bulgaria and Bosnia and Herzegovina, built within the framework of the EuroCC2 EuroCC4SEE projects. Prof. Aneta Karaivanova (Head of the National Center of Competence in Bulgaria) and Dr. Adna Ašić (representative of the National Center of Competence in Bosnia and Herzegovina) presented the work of the two centers, the specifics and achievements, goals and challenges. Prof. Emanоuil Atanasov presented the development of high-performance systems in Bulgaria, with special attention being paid to the new Data Center with a supercomputer, located in the IICT. The presentations were followed by a lively discussion on future joint initiatives, the discussion of which will continue during the regional conference in Belgrade, May 20-22 this year. After the seminar, Dr. Ašić visited the IICT Data Center and was shown the Avitohol and HEMUS supercomputers.
