“Quantum Computing Simulators”, from 13:00-15:00 h. The training is intended for HPC users. Quantum simulators are specialized devices or algorithms that use the quantum principles of mechanics to model complex quantum systems that cannot be effectively simulated by classical computers. They are based on the use of quantum bits (qubits), which can exist in multiple states simultaneously thanks to phenomena such as superposition and entanglement. Quantum simulators are used to develop and test new algorithms, that solve problems related to chemistry, physics and materials science, such as modeling molecules or investigating new materials taking advantage of the unique advantages of quantum computing.
The seminar is organized by the National Competence Center – Bulgaria within the framework of the EuroCC2 project.
