On July 15, 2021 the National Center for Competence – Bulgaria organized the workshop “Competence and Good Practices in HPC/HPDA/AI”. The program was divided into two sessions. During the morning session members of the NCC Bulgaria team presented the EuroCC project and Bulgaria’s participation in it, as well as competencies in the field of high-performance computing, big data analytics and artificial intelligence and good practices and the new supercomputer “Discoverer”. The afternoon session was aimed at HPC / HPDA / AI industrial users.

The workshop took place as a hybrid event: in person in the large conference hall of Expo Hotel, Sofia, and online through the Zoom platform. 86 representatives of the scientific community, industry and the public sector took part in the workshop.
