On 22 May 2024, a hybrid training course: Going parallel – a step by step guide was organized by Sofia University St. Kliment Ohridski team as a part of the NCC-Bulgaria.

During the event, 15 participants (7 online and 8 in the computer room) took part in the tutorial. The participants registered in advance to gain access to the HPC cluster. The lecturers discussed the main reasons for converting an existing serial code into a parallel code, methods to identify parallelizable candidates, and provided a step-by-step guide for applying increasingly complex parallelization techniques.
