The fifteenth edition of the annual international conference on Digital Presentation and Preservation of Cultural and Scientific Heritage – DiPP2025 – was held from September 25 to 28, 2025, in Burgas, Bulgaria, under the patronage of UNESCO and with the support of local authorities. The forum aimed to present innovative results, projects, and applications in the fields of digitization, documentation, archiving, presentation, and sustainable preservation of cultural and scientific heritage. The conference brought together 88 researchers, experts, and representatives from libraries, museums, galleries, archives, research centers, and public administration, who exchanged experience, ideas, knowledge, and best practices in the field.

This year, the Bulgarian team of the EuroCC2 project presented to the conference participants new data services developed by the team of IICT–BAS, which will be included in the portfolio of the National Competence Centre in the field of High-Performance Computing (HPC) and made available to users. The report emphasized that beyond computational power, the real key to successful work with big data lies in well-organized services – including infrastructurepolicies, automation, backup strategies, and strategic planning.
The mission of the European project EuroCC2 (2023–2025) is to establish National Competence Centres in HPC across European countries, to improve skills, and to facilitate access to resources and services for the academic, industrial, and public sectors. The traditional participation of the Bulgarian project team in the DiPP conference series aims to promote the potential of high-performance computing and high-performance data analytics and to support their use by the community of researchers, experts, and institutions working in the field of cultural heritage preservation.
